We are proud to share that Duggan Brothers has won the Fit-Out or Refurbishment Over €10M category at the recent Irish Construction Excellence [ICE] Awards for Tom Johnson House.
This landmark deep retrofit project transformed a six-storey 1970s office building into a modern, sustainable headquarters for the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications, extending the life of the building for decades to come.
Delivered in partnership with the Office of Public Works (OPW), the project showcases the potential of refurbishment to meet ambitious environmental and workplace goals. Through a focus on energy performance, embodied carbon, circular economy principles and innovative design, Tom Johnson House has been reimagined as a flexible, future-ready workplace.
This award is a testament to the collaboration, expertise and commitment of everyone involved in the project, which was delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Thank you to our client, design team, project partners and the entire Duggan Brothers team for helping make this achievement possible.
