Dorset Street Hotel Development

Works are progressing well on our Dorset Street Hotel Development project. The new 6 story hotel will be located on the site of the famous North Dublin Tavern ‘The Big Tree’. The former Big Tree pub will be converted into a 163-bed pod hotel. The mixed use hotel and retail development will have an overall gross floor area of, 5,820sq.m. Retail use will be accommodated at ground level with hotel accommodation above.

The focus has now turned to internal trades and fitout works. Flooring and Furniture fitout is at the advanced stages, final painting is underway. Mechanical and Electrical Plant installation is nearing completion, as is the brick façade to the envelope of the building. The removal of external scaffold has commenced.

Project completion is still on course for early in the new year.
