We are both honoured & proud that our project ‘Dominick Hall – Urban Regeneration’ delivered in conjunction with Denis Byrne Architects & Cotter & Naessens Architects on behalf of Dublin City Council has achieved the esteemed RIAI Housing Award at last nights awards ceremony.
The new inner-city mixed-use development comprises 72 social housing units (67 apartments, 5 houses) with a community centre, retail and commercial units at ground level, over basement carparking, storage & plant rooms. The guiding principles for the regeneration of the site were to integrate a fine grain of new development within the historic streetscape, to provide high quality contemporary architecture to add to the rich tectonic
legacy of the built environment in this part of the north city centre and to institute a high-quality public realm in its environs.
Congratulations and well done to all that were involved with and contributed to this project over the course of its delivery.
