We are proud to mark the beginning of construction at Blackbird Park, Cabra—a transformative new development that will deliver 95 A2-rated social homes in partnership with Focus Housing Association.

This landmark project, located on 2.03 hectares of land generously gifted by the Dominican Sisters, is being delivered with the support of Dublin City Council, the Department of Housing, Local Government & Heritage, and the Housing Finance Agency.

The Lord Mayor of Dublin, Emma Blain, Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, James Browne TD, representatives of the Cabra-Glasnevin Central Councillors and the Dominican Sisters joined us on site to officially turn the first sod and mark the beginning of this important development.

Designed with sustainability and community at its heart, the scheme will provide a thoughtfully planned mix of homes—including apartments and duplexes ranging from one to four bedrooms—across five architecturally designed, three-storey blocks.

In addition to high-quality housing, Blackbird Park will feature over 7,300m² of landscaped public open space, a public green area, children’s play facilities, and two dedicated community rooms to support strong, connected neighbourhoods.

This development marks Focus Housing’s largest scheme to date, and we are honoured to play a key role in bringing it to life.
