Last year, 50 colleagues took part in the ambitious Tour de Éire challenge, with participants joining across various stages and a smaller cohort completing the full 2,000km route around the circumference of Ireland over 11 days — together cycling an incredible 22,000km across some of the country’s most iconic routes.
Giving back was central to the initiative. We were proud to support the Irish Kidney Association, with Duggan Brothers committing to match every kilometre cycled — resulting in a total donation of €22,000 to support their vital services and advocacy work.
Today, we were delighted to formally present the cheque to the Irish Kidney Association. It was a pleasure to meet Francis Hogan and Ann Hackett, with the cheque presented by David Duggan and Seamus Duggan, marking a meaningful milestone in this journey.
Tour de Éire was about more than distance, it celebrated teamwork, personal achievement and participation at every level. Thank you to everyone who cycled, supported and contributed to making the challenge such a success.
