Dublin’s inaugural Ruby Molly Hotel, an eight-storey, 273-bedroom hotel, now stands as a landmark in the revitalisation of Dublin’s Market area. Built on the site of a former Fruit and Vegetable Wholesale Warehouse, the project was delivered ahead of schedule and within budget for Creekvale Ltd in collaboration with ARA Europe. Situated on Arran Street East and Little Mary Street adjacent to the historic Fruit & Vegetable Markets, this development has significantly contributed to the rejuvenation of the area.
The development involved the demolition of existing two- to three-storey buildings and the construction of a new hotel facility covering approximately 9,600 sq.m over a single basement. The design features a combination of part five-storey and part eight-storey elements, resulting in a modern, high-quality accommodation that reactivates underused property and boosts local foot traffic and community activity.

The Ruby Molly Hotel was designed to seamlessly integrate modern hospitality standards with the historic character of its surroundings. The state-of-the-art facility provides premium accommodation while contributing to the continued urban regeneration of the area. With its strategic location and thoughtful design, the hotel has set a new benchmark in sustainable urban redevelopment.
Outcome & Impact:
By generating increased activity and reactivating an underutilised urban site, the hotel has played a pivotal role in the local area’s revitalisation. Its successful completion underscores the outstanding teamwork and collaboration among our management, design teams, and subcontract partners, marking a significant achievement in transforming Dublin’s Market area.
