The Portlaoise Garda Divisional Headquarters project marks a significant investment in modernising Garda infrastructure
Leopardstown Racecourse Development Phase 3 & 4 Works involved the reorganisation and upgrade of existing facilities. These works included the construction of a two storey racing facilities building, a single storey south entrance building, saddling stalls within a new parade ring, a new prize-winners podium, and an external children’s playground.
The works included a new toilet block extension, Bar Refurbishment and Plant Area Upgrade at grandstand level 1. In addition also included was a new toilet block extension and the change of use of the existing nightclub to a new hospitality area within the grandstand building at grandstand level 2. The works included the extension of existing level 0 grandstand facilities to include a new coffee café, store, lift lobby, and kiosk extension; together with associated works involving remodelling of the pre-existing external covered way to create a new external street area. The external street area has new external canopies, stairway and associated site & landscaping works.
Additionally, the works included the conversion of the existing saddling stalls buildings to provide an indoor children’s play area, racing museum, temporary food units and storage area. The gross floor area of the work is 3853 m2.
