We would like to extend a massive thank you and well done to those who participated in our Centenary Charity Cycle last Friday. This encompassed cycling 100 Miles around the Slievebloom Mountains, with every mile signifying one year in construction. We were accompanied on the day by fellow Tipp man & cycling legend Sean Kelly.
The weather throughout the day was good, despite an almighty downpour on the way into Banagher which undoubtedly added some character building to the challenge. Thankfully, all cyclists were able to rise to the challenge and cross the finish line into Kinnitty Castle, albeit a little more weather beaten than we would have liked!
We would also like to thank each and every individual that has supported our fundraiser which is held in support of three very worthy charities – The Dublin Simon Community; MS Ireland – Meath Branch and The Irish Kidney Association – Tipperary Branch.
Our fundraiser will remain open until the 28th of September, and we would be very appreciative of any support. All donations, small and large will make a big difference to these three charities.
