Duggan Brothers and Peamount Healthcare were delighted to partner for the second year running to raise much needed funds for the Alzheimer Society of Ireland. The event was held at the ‘Hub’ on the grounds of Peamount Healthcare.
Duggan Brothers site team working on the new 100 Bed Nursing Facility, subcontractors, Peamount Healthcare residents and staff of Peamount Healthcare enjoyed the celebrations with a cuppa and freshly baked cakes and cupcakes.
Alzheimer’s Tea Day is the largest annual fundraising campaign for the ‘Alzheimer Society of Ireland’. There is currently no cure for this progressive disease. 1 in 2 of us know someone suffering from dementia.
The Alzheimer Society of Ireland advocates, empowers, and champions the rights of people living with dementia and their communities to quality support and services. The funds raised by both Duggan Brother & Peamount Healthcare will help to fund Day Care; Home Care; Respite and Advisory Services.
Thank you to all that took part and kindly donated. In total €3143.01 was raised for the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
