Lyrath Estate Hotel, Spa and Convention Centre

Description

This 5 Star Hotel in the grounds of the Lyrath Estate involved the retention and refurbishment of the existing Victorian Country House, and the construction of a 137 number bedroom block including 10 luxury suites a Presidential suite and an executive club floor and lounge. Also included in the project was the construction of a state of the art convention centre to cater for up to 1,500 delegates, a cinema screening room, a health spa featuring a hydro pool both indoor and outdoor. The structure includes a mixture of precast frames and steel frames with precast floors. The project included major groundworks including basements, services and landscaping elements. Duggan Brothers were responsible for co-ordinating the entire project including the extensive mechanical and electrical services.
