Position Details

  • Role: Site Manager
  • Location: Clonmel
  • Job Type: Full-time, permanent
  • Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring efficient daily operations
  • Maintain accurate site diaries and manage workforce levels to meet programme targets
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure successful delivery on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
  • Implement and monitor Health & Safety and Quality Management Systems
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement while maintaining safety and compliance
  • Requisition materials and ensure deliveries meet specification and scheduling needs
  • Organise and attend site meetings to facilitate clear communication across all stakeholders

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Site Management role, ideally with a main contractor
  • Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related trade background
  • Proven experience delivering projects from inception through to completion
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to drive performance and manage subcontractors
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and organisational skills
  • Deep technical and practical knowledge of the construction industry and regulatory environment
