Position: Finishing Foreman
Requirement: Immediate
Location: Dublin/Some travel may be involved
Job type: Permanent full time
Salary: Negotiable
Overview
Role Responsibilities:
Attending daily briefings.
Overseeing site operations.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors and other labour workers.
Manage plant and labour returns.
Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site.
Maintain H&S records.
Ordering and following up on site material deliveries.
Liaise with site manager and subcontractor regarding programmes and coordination.
Implementation of daily and weekly programmes together with the issue of programme detail to sub-contractors.
Ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards.
Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of quality standards.
Attending site meetings as required.
Maintaining site diary recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities.
Ensure compliance with Building Standards and DBL Quality Management System.
Key Points
Candidate Specification:
Trade Qualified
Minimum 5 years’ General Foreman/ Finishing Foremen Experience
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
To have good spoken and written communication skills
To be methodical, pay attention to detail and be accurate
To be good at working with people at all levels and willing to work in a team.
To be self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative
