Position: Finishing Foreman
Requirement: Immediate
Location: Dublin/Some travel may be involved
Job type: Permanent full time
Salary: Negotiable

Overview

Role Responsibilities:

 Attending daily briefings.
 Overseeing site operations.
 Coordinate and manage subcontractors and other labour workers.
 Manage plant and labour returns.
 Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site.
 Maintain H&S records.
 Ordering and following up on site material deliveries.
 Liaise with site manager and subcontractor regarding programmes and coordination.
 Implementation of daily and weekly programmes together with the issue of programme detail to sub-contractors.
 Ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards.
 Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of quality standards.
 Attending site meetings as required.
 Maintaining site diary recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities.
 Ensure compliance with Building Standards and DBL Quality Management System.

Key Points

Candidate Specification:

 Trade Qualified
 Minimum 5 years’ General Foreman/ Finishing Foremen Experience
 Ability to work to tight deadlines
 Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
 To have good spoken and written communication skills
 To be methodical, pay attention to detail and be accurate
 To be good at working with people at all levels and willing to work in a team.
 To be self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative
